DAY 3: TUESDAY, april 29. MICHAEL MURPHY DAY / BROOKHAVEN FALLEN HEROES WEST SAYVILLE / MEDFORD
Start: Lt. Michael P. Murphy Navy Seal Museum, Montauk Hwy and West Avenue, West Sayville – 10:30 am
Pick up runners: 5K run – Patchogue-Medford HS, 181 Buffalo Avenue, Medford – 6:00 pm
Finish: Patchogue-Medford HS
Runners: Suggested $30 donation fee allows you to participate in 1 or more days' events. You will also receive a commemorative T-shirt and challenge coin while supplies last.
Tuesday is in honor of Navy Lt. (SEAL) Michael P. Murphy and Brookhaven Fallen Heroes.
Part 1 - Leave West Sayville to Brookhaven with stops along the way at Suffolk County Community College - Ammerman Campus, Brookhaven Town Hall and other memorial locations.
Part 2 - Participation runner distance will be a 5k, with the start and finish at the Patchogue-Medford High School to honor Navy Lt. (SEAL) Michael P. Murphy.
